North Las Vegas court offers ticket amnesty program

North Las Vegas Municipal Court began a ticket amnesty program Wednesday that will offer 50 percent off on total fines for qualifying traffic and misdemeanor cases. That includes any added warrant fees.

Court Administrator Debbie Miller said in a statement that judges want to provide an opportunity in tough economic times for people to fulfill their court obligations.

She said people should call the court or check the website for more information.
