Transparency in Komen fundraising a good thing

If anything good comes of the controversy over the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast-cancer charity not giving then giving money to Planned Parenthood it is the revelation that if you donate money to Komen some of it eventually makes its way to the controversial organization called Planned Parenthood.

Most people won't care. Some will go under the rubric that any money given to Planned Parenthood, even when it is restricted to a worthy cause such as breast cancer screening, allows Planned Parenthood to spend more of their non-restricted money toward providing abortions.

That kind of transparency is good for donors.
