L.A. mayor rips Romney’s stance on home foreclosures

RENO -- Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said Mitt Romney's comments about the foreclosure crisis show he's out of touch with middle-class Americans.

In a speech to Washoe County Democrats in Reno on Friday night, Villaraigosa said Romney's remarks show he does not want to help "responsible homeowners who have been scammed by lenders" or "middle-class families who, through no fault of their own, have hit hard times."
