Greta on jobs rhetoric

Greta Van Susteren offers up a good dose of common sense in this blog item headlined: "Dig deep – don’t just accept the rhetoric about being job creators."

She means it for everyday readers and listeners, of course. But it ought to be required reading for reporters, too.

I'm still struck by Sen. Harry Reid's green energy summit held a few weeks ago in Las Vegas. Proponents of green energy as a good jobs program were allowed to expoound this idiocy without challenge at the summit. Not one reporter or pundit (save the no-holds-barred Tom Mitchell).

Republican or Democrat, state senator or president of the United States, I think Greta offers up a good start for better evaluating/challenging politicians claims of creating or saving jobs.
