Colorado man, 51, dies after Lake Mead outing

A 51-year-old Colorado man died Saturday morning after riding a Jet-Ski at Lake Mead's Hemenway Harbor, according to rangers with the National Park Service.

Companions of the man, who appeared to have had a heart attack, began CPR while transporting him to shore, according to the Park Service.

Medics arrived in a patrol boat and continued CPR on the man, who was not identified.

He was taken by helicopter to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
