Rogers, Stoldal racist?

Longtime KSNV-TV, Channel 3 news anchor Sue Manteris has sued the station, alleging — among several things — racial bias.

I find the allegations not believable.

I've known Bob Stoldal and Jim Rogers for decades. While we were not "come over to the house" friendly, we were close professionally. And I can tell you that neither in my experience are racists as alleged in the suit.

Not even a hint of it. We'll see how the suit progresses, of course. But I can't imagine any credible evidence coming forward in so far as to show either men are racists.

That's not to say that Jim isn't a blustery curmudgeon and a politically wrong old fart, to boot. But a racist? No way.
