Golden Rainbow selling tickets
for annual fundraiser

Tickets for Golden Rainbow's 25th annual "Ribbon of Life" fundraising production, set for 1 p.m. June 26 at the Paris Theatre at Paris Las Vegas, are for sale at parislasvegas.com or ticketmaster.com. Tickets also are available at the Paris Las Vegas box office or by calling 888-746-7784.

"Ribbon of Life" has become one of the largest HIV/AIDS fundraisers in Nevada and is Golden Rainbow's main source of revenue. The fundraising spectacular is an original production featuring some of the best performers from premiere shows on the Las Vegas Strip.

Tickets are $35, $50 and $100. VIP-level tickets are $200. All tickets include entry to the after-party.

Nevada Ballet Theatre, Cirque du Soleil team up for Sunday Showcase

The Nevada Ballet Theatre and Cirque du Soleil plan to present "A Choreographers' Showcase" at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Viva ELVIS Theatre at Aria at CityCenter, 3730 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Proceeds will subsidize a special performance for Clark County students. In the past three years, 3,000 local students have witnessed this one-of-a-kind production, bridging artists from diverse backgrounds and dance styles.

The 90-minute production includes 10 original choreographed pieces, five from Nevada Ballet Theatre dancers and five from Cirque du Soleil artists.

Blue Man Group offers discount
in exchange for food donations

In support of the nonprofit organization Three Square, the Blue Man Group plans to host the Summer Stock Up food drive for locals to donate nonperishable food items at the Blue Man Group Theatre inside The Venetian from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

In exchange for their donations, the Blue Man Group will offer one complimentary ticket per person to either the 7 or 10 p.m. performances the same day and a 15 percent off coupon to the Blue Man Group retail store.

To participate, patrons must bring a bag of nonperishable food containing items from Three Square's list of needed donations. The list includes items such as single-serving cereal boxes, fruit cups, granola and breakfast bars, crackers or cookie packs, sunflower seed packets, pop-top canned fruit, trail mix and raisins. The food will benefit children from low-income homes who are unable to take advantage of school lunch programs due to summer break.

Residents unable to attend the food drive can still participate by using the discount code 3 SQUARE LOCALS 50 to receive 50 percent off Blue and Red Zone tickets for shows Friday through June 19.

Blue Man Group will donate 50 percent of the proceeds raised from tickets purchased, up to $10,000, using the special code, to Three Square.
