Gas prices through the roof

The many places of unrest in the Middle East have oil prices soaring. And that means substantially higher gasoline prices in America.

Obviously international events are the primary culprit. But let's not forget to "thank" President Obama and the Democratic Party for a good deal of our country's inability to roll with the oil crisis punch.

Instead of doing all we could to become less dependent on foreign oil, we're more at risk than ever. We're not maximizing oil extraction potential in the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska or anywhere domestically. Instead Democrats have put all of the country's eggs into "green" energy.

So when you start paying $5 per gallon at the pump shortly, remember the president and all his men and say "that was the plan?"
