Man gets 13-year sentence
in robbery of Antoine Walker
A Chicago man was sentenced to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to robbing former NBA standout Antoine Walker at gunpoint at his home in 2007.
Demorris Hill was tried late last year for the robbery, but the jury wasn't able to reach a unanimous verdict.
Prosecutors had said they planned to retry him before he pleaded guilty Friday to one count of home invasion.
Two other men also have been convicted in the robbery, and a third is awaiting trial.
Hill is also charged in a similar robbery at the suburban Chicago home of New York Knicks center Eddy Curry. And he has a 2006 armed robbery case pending in Cicero, Ill. He has pleaded not guilty.
Walker, a Chicago native, played 14 seasons in the NBA.
Also: Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers said he doesn't think Shaquille O'Neal's latest injury is serious.
O'Neal didn't travel with the team for Saturday's game at Washington. The 38-year-old center left in the first quarter of Friday's home win over Utah with a sore right hip.
Rivers said he'll find out more when the team resumes practice Monday. The Celtics' next game is home against Cleveland on Tuesday.
Washington Wizards guard Kirk Hinrich will have an MRI on his sprained right elbow to determine the extent of the injury. Hinrich sat out against Boston after hyperextending the elbow in the fourth quarter of Friday's loss to Phoenix.

Royals, first baseman Butler
reach terms on $30 million deal
The Kansas City Royals and first baseman Billy Butler agreed to a $30 million, four-year contract, avoiding arbitration.
Butler was the Royals' player of the year the past two seasons and the team's only remaining arbitration-eligible player. The agreement includes a club option for the 2015 season.
Butler gets a $2 million signing bonus, a $3 million salary this year and $8 million each of the following three seasons.
Butler set career highs with a .318 average, 189 hits, 69 walks and a .388 on-base percentage last year. In four major league seasons, he has a .299 average with 55 homers and 278 RBIs.
Also: Center fielder Andres Torres and the World Series champion San Francisco Giants agreed to terms on a $2.2 million, one-year contract to avoid arbitration.
Torres, 32, batted .268 with 16 home runs and 63 RBIs in his first full season in the big leagues after toiling through the minors for 12 years -- eight at the Triple-A level -- before finally getting his shot.
Houston Astros right-hander Cesar Carrillo was charged with trespassing after police say he was told to leave the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa, Fla.
Seminole Tribe spokesman Gary Bitner said Carrillo left the casino when initially warned but came back 15 minutes later, so tribe police arrested him early Saturday.
Former major league outfielder Gus Zernial, who played for three teams in 11 seasons, died Wednesday in Fresno, Calif. He was 87.
Zernial led the American League with 33 homers and 129 RBIs in 1951. He began that season with the Chicago White Sox but spent most of the year with the then-Philadelphia Athletics.
Zernial hit a career-best 42 homers with Philadelphia in 1953 and finished with a .265 batting average, 237 homers and 776 RBIs in his major league career.
