NAS to host free seminar for HOA board members

Nevada Association Services Inc., an assessment collections firm, in partnership with the Nevada Fight Fraud Task Force, will host a free seminar Nov. 18 for Southern Nevada homeowners association board members to learn how to deal with foreclosures in their communities.

Entitled "Foreclosures and Collections in the Common Interest Community," the seminar will address common issues such as warning signs of foreclosure, how to deal with residents facing foreclosure and possible signs of fraud.

Guest presenters will include David Stone, president of Nevada Association Services Inc., and Elisabeth Daniels, chairperson of the Nevada Fight Fraud Taskforce, a statewide consumer protection group spearheaded by Nevada Department of Business and Industry.

The seminar will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, located at 6671 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Ste. 300, inside Town Square.
