Today's best bet: San Antonio Spurs (-8) over MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES

Off to their best start in franchise history, the Spurs (12-1) should cruise to their 12th consecutive victory against the lowly Timberwolves. Minnesota has dropped its last 12 meetings with San Antonio, losing its last three by at least 18 points each. The Spurs are averaging 107.6 points per game and should have their way with the Wolves, who are allowing a league-high 110.4 ppg.
