Fire destroys Mount Charleston log home

Clark County firefighters were investigating an early morning house fire Friday on Mount Charleston.

The fire broke out about 3 a.m. at 4120 Mont Blanc Way, according to police records.

No one was home during the fire, which destroyed the log house, county spokeswoman Jennifer Knight said. Officials estimated the loss at $750,000.

The home was owned by Jeffrey and Kelli Azeman, according to land records. Jeffrey Azeman is a Las Vegas firefighter.
