Traffic worries clog Tahoe resort plan
CRYSTAL BAY, Nev. -- Environmentalists are expressing concerns over a regulatory agency's final document analyzing the impacts of a proposed major destination resort on Lake Tahoe's north shore.
League to Save Lake Tahoe and North Tahoe Preservation Alliance representatives say they don't think various concerns were properly addressed in the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency's final environmental impact statement on the Boulder Bay project at Crystal Bay.
They cite concerns over its impact on traffic and the height of the project planned for the site of the aging Tahoe Biltmore Lodge & Casino.
