Las Vegas police are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a 45-year-old man in a central valley neighborhood Friday afternoon.

Officer Barbara Morgan said police were called to the 1000 block of Silverman Way, near H Street and Owens Avenue, shortly before 3 p.m. for a report of a man who had been shot.

The suspect, a black man in his 30s with a bright yellow shirt, was seen fleeing behind a building across the street, according to police. He is still at large.

The two men were seen arguing in front of an apartment when the gunman shot the man multiple times, police said.
