Still can’t see the terrorist for the trees at downtown courthouse

Priorities are strange at the Regional Justice Center.

County workers let another week pass without trimming rows of trees (not the palm trees) that block security cameras outside the main entrance.

Instead, the workers spent their time Thursday and Friday fixing the sprinklers underneath one of those trees.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported nearly two months ago that the trees pose a security risk.If there's a reason for this lack of concern, we haven't heard it. Odd, given that courthouse security is a major issue throughout the United States.
