Northern Iowa player who helped knock Rebels out of NCAA tourney gets jeers from a few fans
There are still some fans here who aren't willing to forgive the bruising center for helping eliminate UNLV from the NCAA Tournament in March. Eglseder was part of the Northern Iowa team that defeated the Rebels before shocking top-ranked Kansas in the second round to advance to the Sweet 16. As Eglseder was warming up prior to the game, a few fans had some not-so-flattering things to say. It probably would have been much worse for Ali Farokhmanesh, the Northern Iowa player that hit the game-winning shot.
