Man shot, killed Saturday morning identified

A 19-year-old man who was shot and killed Saturday morning was identified Tuesday.

Eric Taybron died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Clark County coroner's office.

Las Vegas police said the shooting happened at an apartment complex in the 3800 block of Wynn Road, near Viking Road.

Two black males between 16 and 20 years old wearing red clothes approached Taybron and a group of men and asked about a party, police said.

The suspects left, but came back a short time later. One of the suspects began shooting at the group, striking Taybron and an unarmed security guard.

Taybron was taken to University Medical Center, where he died. The security guard was injured but is expected to recover.
