The body of a woman was found in a wash in the southeast valley Monday afternoon, according to Las Vegas police.
The body was discovered near Green Valley Parkway and Patrick Lane about 4:45 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the woman's death were not available. Police said the woman appeared to be homeless.
The death does not appear to be suspicious, police said.
