Political strategist Joe Brezny joins GLVAR

Joe Brezny, a longtime political strategist in Nevada, has joined the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors as a government affairs director.

As one of GLVAR's two government affairs directors, Brezny will work with local governments to represent the interests of the largest professional organization in Southern Nevada.

Brezny has been an advocate for elected officials, candidates and issues for more than two decades. He has managed winning campaign teams at the local, state and federal levels.

Most recently, he was the executive director of the Nevada GOP Senate Caucus, serving as chief strategist to nine state senators.

During the last presidential election cycle, he was the state director for the Romney for President campaign in Nevada, playing a key role in a 39-point victory in the presidential primary caucus.

A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Brezny has lived in Nevada since 2001.

His hobbies include scuba diving and hiking.
