Shea Homes at Ardiente includes amenities, pools

Today and Sunday, three model homes from Shea Homes will open for tours at Ardiente, a North Las Vegas age-qualified master-planned community.

“We visited several other active-adult communities in and around Las Vegas and were frankly somewhat disappointed,” according to Ardiente homebuyers Chris and Linda Faber. “None measured up to the complete package that Ardiente offers its residents.”

“There didn’t seem to be the same attention to detail as with Ardiente,” Linda Faber said.

“We also spent several months looking at active-adult communities throughout the Phoenix/Scottsdale area,” Chris Faber said, “and did not find the value for the dollar we found here.”

The Fabers own a recreational vehicle and have been traveling around the country looking for a place to settle down, buy a home and continue their lifestyle.

“After visiting what we thought would be our final Las Vegas-area community, we saw an advertisement for Ardiente in the (Las Vegas) Review-Journal and thought we should check it out before we continued on down the road,” Chris Faber said.

“Great decision, we’re sure glad we did,” Linda Faber said. “From the minute we drove through the gate at Ardiente, we knew we had found home and a sense of place, which is very important to us.”

“The sales staff at Ardiente has been excellent,” Nonette Hampton said. “Their follow up is stellar. When they tell you something is an action item and will get done, they make sure it happens in a timely manner. In fact, buying our home at Ardiente was easier than buying a car.”

“We made the decision to purchase the Monaco: two bedrooms, an office, living room, a great kitchen layout, two bathrooms, large two-car garage and covered patio,” Ken Hampton said. “We selected this floor plan because we are looking to downsize — actually, right-size is a better term — to a home that better reflects and fits our lifestyle.”

Chris and Linda Faber had a similar buying experience at Ardiente.

“From the minute you drive up to the gate, you’re made to feel like you’re the only couple the staff is working with,” Linda Faber said. “Sales manager Ryan Smith went out of his way to answer any questions we had. The design center team worked with us right from the start. Ardiente’s construction manager guided us through literally every phase of the construction process and explained details in a way that anyone can understand.”

The Fabers selected the Rome floor plan for their new home at Ardiente.

“We wanted a single-story with two bedrooms,” Linda Faber said. “The added den was really a nice touch. The size and layout of the Rome is ideal for a couple such as us who just want to settle down in their retirement years but maybe take some cruises and have a comfortable, secure home base that enables us to be gone for extended periods of time without concern.”
