Union protestors get a police escort?

I'm still trying to digest this story about an SEIU protest of a bank exec at his private home. I don't think there's much question that the protest itself crossed the line of common decency.

But the question I'd raise this fine Friday afternoon as we head into the weekend is why did the DC police give the protesters an escort to the man's home? And, why weren't there any arrests? It's not the like the police arrived late. The police lead the way.

Complete Las Vegans will want to digest this and give it some thought. You'll no doubt join me in concluding the whole deal is very troubling.
