Police seeking help in murder case of father

Las Vegas police are asking for the public's help in identifying persons of interest in a three-year-old murder case.

Rudy Brieno, a 31-year-old father of three from California, was outside Cheetahs strip club about 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, 2007, when a fight began. Brieno and others had been yelling at another group of men in the parking lot of the club, 2112 Western Ave., near Sahara Avenue.

Brieno began exchanging blows with a man who pulled a gun and shot him.

On Wednesday, detectives released blurry photos of two vehicles and several persons of interest in the case.

One photo shows a white sedan, possibly a Lexus with California plates, in the parking lot of Cheetahs. Another photo is of a green Pontiac Grand Prix sedan with dark-tinted windows and chrome wheels.

Anybody with information on the suspects or the vehicles is encouraged to contact the homicide section at 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 385-5555.
