Man killed in morning traffic collision

A 73-year-old man died this morning in a traffic collision on Lamb Boulevard at Manor Green Lane. Police said the accident occurred shortly after 8 a.m.

The PT Cruiser the man was driving was turning from Manor Green, near Charleston Boulevard, north onto Lamb.

A Nissan driven by 48-year-old Isaac Kenolio was traveling south on Lamb and struck the driver’s side of the PT Cruiser, police said.

Both drivers were taken to University Medical Center where the older man was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.

Kenolio suffered moderate injuries, police said, and the accident remains under investigation.
