Jim Murren among keynote speakers at Preview 2010
MGM-Mirage Chief Executive Officer Jim Murren is among the keynote speakers at Preview 2010, the annual economic forecast sponsored by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. The event is scheduled for Jan. 28 at Cox Pavilion at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Murren, former financial analyst on Wall Street, is largely seen as the force behind CityCenter, MGM-Mirage's $8.5 billion megaresort that opened on the Strip in December.
Other speakers at Preview 2010 include Rossi Ralenkotter, president and chief executive officer of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority; Jeremy Aguero, principal of Las Vegas-based Applied Analysis business advisory firm; Steve Levitt, author of "Freakonomics" and "Superfreakonomics;" and Punam Mathur, vice president of human resources for NV Energy.
