How to lose a war in a long and painful way

In case you missed it, The Complete Las Vegan directs all thoughtful readers to this George Will column.

Now, be forewarned that George Will is a conservative who has come out against the war in Afghanistan. While his thinking is not mine on this matter, it must be said that Will is one of America's very best commentators who is almost always worth your time to read.

In this column he pretty much guts President Barrack Obama's goof-ball thinking on his "surgelet" in Afghanistan and points out that "George Orwell said the quickest way to end a war is to lose it." But the policy abortion that is our president has crafted a "plan" for Afghanistan than loses the war in a most painful and long way.

Obama is proving to be an awful president on almost every front. From the economy to securing the safety of the president of India at a White House party, Team Obama is simply not up to the task. But, I digress from the George Will column at hand.
