Polls show Harry going from bad to worse
The Las Vegas Review-journal poll this morning showing Sen. Harry Reid stuck at a dismal 38% approval rating isn't the worst of it.
Other parts of the poll, which will be reported on later this weekend, plus other pieces of the Mason-Dixon poll contain warnings that, I promise you, scare the ever livin' daylights out of the Reid war room. This whole "reintroduction" thing the Reid campaign said it was doing to remind Nevada voters of who Harry Reid really is, well, it ain't workin'. Or, as some wags say, maybe it is working ... Nevadans didn't like Harry then, and they don't like him now.
Whatever the case, this is clear: Reid simply can't afford to give any more ground in the polls.
I'll be writing on this topic in my Sunday column.
Here's a sample of the warning signs contained in this latest Las Vegas Review-Journal poll:
Republican Sue Lowden beats Harry Reid by three percentage points ... IN LAS VEGAS.
That's a killer number for any Democrat in Nevada.
