Rory Reid to meet with Washoe Dems

Gubernatorial candidate Rory Reid is planning to head north Saturday to meet with Washoe County Democrats.

There's even a former White House counsel from the Watergate era on the agenda.

Rory to Attend Democratic Celebration

Candidate will visit Reno for the Virginia Demmler Honor Roll Dinner

Las Vegas, NV – Rory Reid will attend the annual Virginia Demmler Honor Roll Dinner, hosted by the Washoe County Democratic Party, on Saturday, November 7, at 6 p.m. He will speak with Democratic activists and voters about his campaign and his vision for the future of our state.

The event will be held in the Reno Ballroom at 401 N. Center St. in Reno. The keynote speaker will be John Dean, former white house counsel and author of “Blind Ambition: The End of the Story,” which details his involvement in Watergate.

At the dinner, several local Democrats will be honored, including Deborah and David Kladney, volunteer activists; Kit Prendergast, founder of Leadership Academy; and Chris Wicker, chair emeritus of the Washoe County Democratic Party.

Reid will be available for individual interviews with members of the media prior to the dinner.
