AROUND TOWN: Henderson Libraries to host star-gazing event tonight

Want to learn more about the stars and get a closer view?

Henderson Libraries and the Las Vegas Astronomical Society will host a star-watching event at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at Paseo Verde Library, 280 S. Green Valley Parkway.

Members of the Las Vegas Astronomical Society and the community are invited to participate in the event. The program is not intended for children younger than 3 years old because star-watching requires advanced eye coordination in order to view the constellations through the telescope. Children are welcome with their parents.
