Body of LV fisherman found

GLIDE, Ore. -- The body of a missing fly fisherman from Las Vegas has been recovered from the North Umpqua River.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said two men fishing on the river found the body of 26-year-old Bahman Khadivi on Sunday, a couple of days after deputies and divers started looking for him.

The Las Vegan had been traveling to various fishing spots in Oregon. The search began when his car was found unattended at Cable Crossing Park.

Sheriff's spokesman Dwes Hutson said the case was being investigated as an accidental drowning.
