Nunnery convicted of first-degree murder

A man on trial for a 2006 crime spree that left three people dead was found guilty today of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and other charges.

A jury convicted Eugene Nunnery, 29, of killing a drug dealer during a dispute in August 2006.

He was also convicted of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon and battery with a deadly weapon for shooting or attempting to shoot two bystanders.

Nunnery was convicted last year and sentenced to death for killing a man during a robbery.
