The Las Vegas Sands Corp. has terminated 194 workers in Las Vegas this week due to the economy, company spokesman Ron Reese confirmed this afternoon.
The cuts come from various departments and include management and front-line employees.
The company currently employs approximately 8,000 workers locally in its corporate offices, and at The Venetian and Palazzo.
