DINING: Eat well and do good in July

  Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas, 1451 Center Crossing Road, will celebrate its sixth
anniversary with a dinner at 5:30 p.m. July 14. With an entrée of tenderloin of beef en croute with summer vegetables, the seven-course dinner is $66.66 per person; proceeds will benefit the college’s professional development fund.   And Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant, 4930 W. Flamingo Road, will host a benefit night for the Nevada Cancer Institute from 6 to 10 p.m. July 16. Ricardo’s menu of contemporary Mexican food will be available, as will a dinner buffet ($12.99, or $14.49 with refillable soft drink). Thirty percent of all sales will be donated to the cancer institute. For reservations, call 227-9100.
