OLLI proves curiosity never retires

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at University of Nevada, Las Vegas is a membership-led organization that stimulates the minds and forges friendships among retired and semiretired individuals in Southern Nevada. OLLI has no academic prerequisites and there are no tests. Members come from all walks of life; no college experience is necessary.

The study groups are peer-led courses, with OLLI members and UNLV faculty facilitating each session. Interactions and discussions are encouraged in each class, and stimulating dialogue covers such topics as current politics, culture, great historical battles, classic courtroom cinema, jazz appreciation and much more.

Named in honor of Bernard and Barbara Osher, the Osher Foundation was established to provide intellectually stimulating programs for adults who are retired or semiretired. In partnership with UNLV Educational Outreach, the OLLI program is committed to individuals who view education as a lifelong journey of exploration.

OLLI courses are being offered at locations throughout Southern Nevada. For information, go to http://seniorprograms.unlv.edu.
