Police say argument leads to fatal stabbing; man arrested

An argument in an east valley apartment resulted in the fatal stabbing of a man Friday night.

Las Vegas police said they were called to an apartment complex at 3200 McLeod Drive, near Desert Inn Road, at 6:19 p.m. about a man who had been stabbed.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police arrested a man at the scene whose name was not released.

Police said the victim and the suspect were engaged in an argument.
