Tipsters calling a police hot line led authorities to the mother of an infant who was found abandoned Wednesday.

Las Vegas police arrested Albanisha Jones, 20, about 10 a.m. today on an unrelated warrant on drug charges.

Detectives were questioning her as part of their ongoing investigation.

Lt. Ray Steiber said it was too soon to tell if Jones would face any criminal charges related to her abandoned child.
