Electro-magnet fields, shocking or not?

Elaine Clermont said she is one of the overly-concerned moms like the character that comedienne Tina Fey played in the 2008 movie, “Baby Mama.”

But she takes electro-magnet fields and the impact of radiation on kids seriously. At a Clark County School Board meeting Thursday, she questioned the placement of a transformer in a school construction project.

Paul Gerner, the associate superintendent of facilities, suggested that anyone who is “overly concerned” might want to move out of Las Vegas since transformers are so prevalent in the city.
