Police looking for man in connection with slaying investigation

Las Vegas police on Monday identified a “person of interest” in the slaying of a 24-year-old man whose body was found in the northwest valley earlier this month.

Police are searching for 37-year-old Antoine Evans. Evans is described by police as standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and has a tattoo of a cross on his right shoulder. He is missing his left middle finger, police said.

Police said Evans might have information on the death of Wyatt Marcell King of North Las Vegas. King, who died from multiple gunshot wounds, was found on the street in the 3800 block of Aspen Cove Street, near Alexander Road and the Las Vegas Beltway.

Anyone with information regarding the homicide or Evans’ whereabouts is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 385-5555 or homicide detectives at 828-3521.
