LV police kill dog after attack

Police say officers shot and killed a stray dog after it attacked three people at a northwest Las Vegas convenience store about 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Two men and an 8-year-old girl suffered minor injuries at a store off North Buffalo Drive near U.S. Highway 95, a police spokeswoman said.

Police described the dog as a pit bull.

Authorities were trying to locate the dog's owner.
