Man shot, killed behind Lucky supermarket

A man died Wednesday night after being shot behind a Lucky supermarket, Las Vegas police said.

Police went to the shopping center, on the 2300 block of East Bonanza Road at Eastern Avenue, after receiving a call that a man had been shot at 7:46 p.m., according to Lt. Lew Roberts.

The man, who was not identified, was taken to University Medical Center where he died. Lt. Rick Alba said the man was shot three times.

Witnesses told police that a man and a woman were seen fleeing the area in an unknown direction.
