Trailer park shooting in NLV kills one

Two men were shot Thursday night in a trailer park in North Las Vegas, and one of the victims died.

North Las Vegas police officer Chrissie Coon said officers were called to the Green Spot Village trailer park, at 2537 Las Vegas Blvd. North, near Civic Center Drive, about 7:30 p.m. for a call of shots fired.

They found two men, ages 21 and 26, with multiple gunshot wounds. Both were taken to University Medical Center, where one of them was pronounced dead, Coon said.

Their names were not released.

Police are looking for a dark red or maroon 2007 or 2008 Nissan Altima sedan that was carrying several males. Coon said the first characters on the vehicle's Nevada license plate are 238V.

Anybody with information on the shootings is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 385-5555.
