A man in his late 20s or early 30s who was shot in the chest multiple times in the 1200 block of Reed Place near Washington Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard is being treated for life-threatening injuries at University Medical Center. Law enforcement responded to the incident shortly after 2 p.m.

Las Vegas police are investigating. Four people have been detained in connection with the shooting.
