Skylofts at MGM Grand joins Five Star ranks

The Mobil Travel Guide's list of Five Star hotels has a new local entry.

Skylofts at MGM Grand has joined the rarefied ranks of properties earning Mobil's highest designation for customer service and experience. Only one other local hotel met the Five Star standard: The Tower Suites at Wynn Las Vegas captured its third top honor from Mobil.

Before 2007, Las Vegas didn't have a single Five Star hotel.

Skylofts is the only new local addition among this year's crop of hotels and restaurants earning Five Stars from Mobil.
