AROUND TOWN: Register to vote today to avoid going to the elections office

Regardless of your party affiliation, you certainly don’t want to show up to vote on Election Day and discover that your aren’t registered. And today, Oct. 4, is the last day to register without having to appear in person at the Election Office (and you know what a pain that would be).

To find out if you are registered, you can go to the Clark County election Web site. Be sure to put the slashes into the date of birth field.

To find out where to register today, check out Clark County's list of stations.
