Ontario Spoils Midnight Game With 1-0 Win

LAS VEGAS, NV – The Las Vegas Wranglers® were defeated by the Ontario Reign 1-0 on Tuesday morning in front of 5,101 fans at the Orleans Arena. Ontario goalie Jeff Zatkoff made 35 saves for the victory and first career shutout. Forward Chris Curran scored the only goal of the game, giving the Reign a 1-0 lead just 1:24 into the second period. Wranglers’ goalie John DeCaro made 19 saves in the loss, ending his six-game winning streak. Las Vegas will host Ontario again at 7:30 PM this Friday night at the Orleans Arena.

After a scoreless first period of play, Ontario broke the tie with the game’s only goal. Forward Chris Curran tipped in a rebound just 1:24 into the period for the 1-0 win.

Las Vegas will host Ontario on Friday night at 7:30 PM. The Wranglers will host Utah on Saturday night at 7:30 PM before the holiday break.
