Police ID charred body

The charred body of a man found by Henderson police off Las Vegas Boulevard at the southern end of the valley last month was identified today by the Clark County coroner's office as 26-year-old Jeffrey Anderson Jr.

Neither Anderson’s hometown nor his cause and manner of death have been determined by the coroner’s office.

Anderson’s body was found Nov. 21 about 8:30 a.m. near Larson Lane, south of St. Rose Parkway. Police are treating the case as a homicide.
