A pedestrian was struck and killed by a motor vehicle in an early morning hit-and-run on Tropicana Avenue near U.S. Highway 95.
The unidentified person was hit by an unknown vehicle about 5:30 a.m., according to Las Vegas police. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
Traffic on Tropicana was stalled in both traffic directions while crews cleared the crash.
