Man killed in hit and run identified

The man struck and killed by a hit-and-run motorist Friday night was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner's office as David Gurrola.

The 37-year-old man was in the street near the curb on Dolly Lane, near Lake Mead and Lamb boulevards.

At 10:39 p.m., Gurrola was struck by an unidentified vehicle that headed south.

Gurrola, of unknown residence, was pronounced dead at the scene.
