New poll: Obama leads in Nevada

A poll released today finds Democrat Barack Obama leading in Nevada, 51 percent to Republican John McCain's 46 percent.

The poll, conducted for Time and CNN by Opinion Research Corp., was one of a set of battleground state polls that found Obama also leading in North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia. In West Virginia, however, McCain had a strong lead.

The poll of 700 likely Nevada voters was conducted Sunday through Tuesday and carries a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points in either direction. A poll conducted by the same organization last month had similar results, showing a four-point Obama lead in the Silver State.
