Thanks for nothin’, Judge Gates

As we wind down the year, are you in the mood for a little outrage?

Then let me direct your attention to District Court Judge Lee Gates, who is finishing up his last year as an alleged public servant to the good people of Las Vegas and Nevada.

My sources down at the Las Vegas District Court building tell me that in 2008 Judge Gates sat on the bench for ... drumroll please ... 21 days.

Twenty-one-freakin'-days!

Nevada taxpayers paid Gates something along the lines of $175,000.

Nice "work", if you can get it.
