Playboy Bloods gang members indicted
Ten members of the Playboy Bloods gang were arrested on drug and other charges related to distributing controlled substances and use of firearms, the U.S. Attorney’s office announced today.
The Playboy Bloods operated out of a housing complex called the Sherman Gardens Annex, at H Street and Doolittle Avenue, according to an indictment.
Most of the violent conflicts were with rival gangs who invaded the Playboy Bloods’ territory, the indictments states.
Three of the gang members faced initial appearances in federal court today; the others are in custody on unrelated charges.
